Author John Likides
Comprising a novel, 59 essays, and a screenplay, John Likides’ 630-page Athanasia: Humanity across the Multiverse is a blueprint for our species’ maturation. The novel features a Mars-astronaut couple (a Tibetan-American woman and a Scandinavian-American surfer) and a visionary Tibetan-American physicist (the surfer’s mentor and the woman’s uncle) who summon the galaxy’s apex civilization, which clones worthy deceased humans and tests them on an alien Earth-like planet where dinosaur-like creatures with primitive tech tempt cloned humans with genocide. The essays range from perennial questions (consciousness, knowledge, the mind-body problem, free will, etc) to more recent ones (quantum mechanics, alternate universes, Black Lives Matter, American exceptionalism, global warming, the Mars frontier, etc).

Bill claman
Bill Claman is a former US Air Force IT guy and veteran of Desert Storm. He now works for a large corporation in the Twin Cities metro as a process automation developer (IT guy). Bill grew up on an acreage in a central Iowa small town.
When not working or writing, Bill spends time hanging out with his wife and distance running. And occasionally the empty-nesters’ kids and grandkids show up as well. When none of those options are available, Bill heads to his backyard in his Bobcat to move some dirt and rocks until different dirt and rocks show. Oh and Bill owns Off Planet Books.
Dr Robert Zubrin
Dr Zubrin is an American aerospace engineer, author, and advocate for human exploration of Mars. Disappointed with the lack of interest from government in Mars exploration and after the success of his book The Case for Mars (1996), as well as leadership experience at the National Space Society, Zubrin established the Mars Society in 1998. This is an international organization advocating a human mission to Mars as a goal, by private funding if possible.
Craig Campobasso
California native Craig Campobasso found himself working behind the scenes for four years on Frank Herbert’s Dune. The father and daughter producing team, Dino and Raffaella De Laurentiis, and director David Lynch, were Craig’s mentors into the business of filmmaking. After he apprenticed as a casting associate on Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories, Raffaella later hired him to be casting director for the popular Christmas movie Prancer, starring Sam Elliott. Emmy-nominated for casting David E. Kelly’s Picket Fences, Craig has been casting for more than three decades and is an acting coach in the Los Angeles area.
Craig’s passion is to write stories that provoke the reader to think, to raise their consciousness, to expand their mind about Creation, while still entertaining in the Hollywood tradition.
steven heumann
Steven spent his childhood recording stories into his sister’s tape deck until she took it away in a huff. Even so, he wouldn’t be stopped. After 15 years working as a writer and director in the television industry, he left it all behind to become a full-time novelist…with a wife and six kids.
Seriously. It may sound crazy, but that’s who you’re dealing with here. He’s since written and published five full-length contemporary science fiction books and seven novellas, including Nightingale, featured in Immortal Work’s OF FAE AND FATE.
Steven has collected comic books since he was 10 years old, and that passion filters into his writing and art. His visual style paints a thrilling picture of character and scene, playing out in the mind like a true movie made up completely of imagination.
Most of his novels are contemporary sci-fi, not unlike ‘Twilight Zone’ or ‘Black Mirror,’ with plenty of twists, turns, and laughs. Newer pieces like RETOOLED blend science fiction and fantasy with dark retellings of lesser-known fairy tales. His techno thriller PAPER HEROES will keep you guessing from the first page, while his popular GAVIN BALLER series of books will make you look at the universe in a whole new way…between belly laughs.
